Osburn publishes these as lettered dimensions A to F that are defined on the clearance drawings in the installation manual, not in words — so read this table with the manual open rather than assuming which letter is which wall. The number that decides whether the stove fits your room is the smallest one: 11" with a single-wall connector pipe, 6" with a double-wall connector pipe (USA). Upgrading the pipe is almost always cheaper than moving a wall.
| Dimension | Single wall (USA) | Double wall (USA) |
| A | 12" (305 mm) | 6" (152 mm) |
| B | 12" (305 mm) | 12" (305 mm) |
| C | 11" (279 mm) | 6" (152 mm) |
| D | 16" (406 mm) | 9 1/4" (235 mm) |
| E | 18" (457 mm) | 18" (457 mm) |
| F | 18" (457 mm) | 12 7/8" (327 mm) |
The manual states it plainly: no part of the stove or flue pipe may be located closer to combustibles than these figures.
A non-combustible floor pad is required on a combustible floor. It must extend:
| Direction | USA |
| In front of the door opening | 16" (406 mm) |
| To the sides and rear | 8" (203 mm) |
Alcove and mobile-home installations are both approved for this stove and each has its own reduced clearance set. See the installation guide below for those configurations, for the full floor-pad dimensions, and for the heat-shield options that reduce clearances further.
