The Empire Rushmore 36" Clean-Face Direct Vent Fireplace, is a high-performance heating solution with an output of up to 40,000 BTUs, ideal for warming your space during chilly evenings. It comes equipped with a versatile Multi-Function remote, allowing easy control over various features such as individual burner settings, flame intensity, ambient lighting, and a wireless on/off capability.

The fireplace offers customizable interior options, including Rustic Banded Brick, Old World Stone, or sleek Black Porcelain liners, to match your decor style.

This model boasts authentic-looking log set choices that enhance the visual appeal of your fires. A safety barrier front is included, ensuring safety without compromising the fireplace's aesthetic. For a unique touch, you can add an elegant decorative front. The matte black andirons provide a base for arranging your fires, adding to the realistic appearance.

An optional blower can be added to maximize heat distribution. The fireplace's standout feature is its Tru-Flame technology, which produces larger, more vibrant flames with reduced emissions, creating a cozy and eco-friendly atmosphere.

Installation Requirements

• Clearances to combustibles: Back 0", sides 2", floor 0", top of unit 36", top framing edge 0"
• Mantel clearance: Follow the mantel chart in the installation manual for any combustible mantel above the unit (from 12" above the opening for a 2" deep mantel up to 22" for a 12" deep mantel).
• Venting: 5" x 8" direct vent, top vent only (rear venting not permitted); 12" minimum vertical rise before the first elbow; maximum 40 ft vertical and 18 ft horizontal, up to three 90° elbows (see the vent graphs in the installation manual for allowed combinations)
• Gas input (BTU/hr): Natural gas 40,000 max / 26,000 min; propane 40,000 max / 33,000 min
• Rough framing: 53-1/2" H x 45-1/2" W x 22-1/8" D
• Power: Requires a 120V, 60Hz, 1 amp electrical supply. A wall-mounted holder with 4 AA batteries provides battery backup.
• Installation: Must be installed by a qualified installer per the installation manual and local codes.
